Ichigaya/Yotsuya Area - The Ichigaya/Yotsuya area is full of cultural delights, with several schools, universities, and art museums. The center of this area features the beautiful Kitanomaru Park, which is popular in the spring when the cherry trees bloom. Inside you can see Yasukuni Shrine, a respected shrine in Japan, and Budokan (Martial Arts Hall), a popular for martial arts competitions and international stage performances. The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo is also situated in the park, and it features an art museum, a crafts gallery, and the National Museum of Modern Art. Bordering the historic Kagurazaka, Ichigaya also has many communities of French people.
